In this episode, I pretty much bounce all over the place. The main theme of this episode is how excited I am about the content found in Gary Vaynerchuk’s new book titled “Crush It.

During the conversation, I mentioned these links:

I wrapped up the show with a few other topics such as competition among podcasters and why I decided to make a change to the release schedule for the shows that I record on Thursdays.

I just finished reading Crush It. The book is definitely motivational to those who have been thinking about or dabbling in the social web. However, Gary's message is basically family first and then work like a dog to establish your brand.

You said you only had one small disagreement with Gary, but it seems to me that Gary's approach has some serious conflicts with your pursuing a balanced life approach.
