I’m not kidding when I say that I packed in a TON of information into this episode. Here is a list of items covered.

* Boston Social Media Tweetup – http://gspn.tv/BostonMeetup
* YouTube increased to a 15 minute limit of videos uploaded to their servers!
* Thoughts on using Archive.org for media hosting for podcast episodes
* Passive Income For Podcasters Webinar coming August 28th (Join The Mailing List To Be Notified of More Details)
* Podcast Master Class Webinar w/ Father Roderick coming September 18th (Join The Mailing List To Be Notified of More Details)
* I used the Audio-Tecnica MT830R Lapel mic in the video found here. (Amazon Link For Mic)
* Sima SL-20LX Ultra Bright LED Light (Amazon Link Here) (My Blog Post Review)
* Thoughts on rechargeable batteries for digital audio recorders.
* Do I still recommend Blue Host after reading THIS and THIS?
* My thoughts on the potential reach of podcasting.
* Do I have any instructional materials for setting up the equipment packages that I sell on my site?

  • After listening to this show I think we have an iceberg ahead. We're not in a boat, we've got an array of tools and instruments to hasten our way to the summit.

But in a sense, we're in the same situation as the two internet marketers in a jungle. They're confronted by a hungry lion. One guy reaches into his knapsack and pulls out a set of sneakers. "You're not going to outrun a lion," says his barefooted companion.

"No need," says the guy with the Asics. "I just need to outrun YOU!"

That's where we're at with podcasting. You and I, and most of the people here at GSPN, are set for the long haul, using techniques and strategies to grow incredible relationships with our customers. That's the future of podcasting.

Others, such as those hellbent on abusing the potential of podcasting for get-rich-quick schemes (we know they're out there in their hundreds), will quickly lose interest and hopefully not cause friction among listeners who right now love the value we add to their lives.

I'm stoked by the incredible reach of YouTube and the new BRIC potential offered by iTunes.

To surmise all this: keep up the incredible work, Cliff. You're a shining star and a beacon of hope for us all!
  • Dave, thanks so much for your eloquent words. We are in this for the long haul, our desire is to add value to people's lives and folks will quickly sniff our and turn to avoid the get rich quick schemers in a heartbeat.

    Viva La Podcasting!
