361 The Next Level Studio

I’m In My New Studio!
I know that I’ve been talking about getting ready to move into my new studio for a very long time. We started the building process, of our new home, a full year ago. I’ve been dreaming of the day that I would actually have all this extra space for all my creative outlets and business pursuits. That day has finally arrived.

I present to you, the very first stage of the NEXT LEVEL STUDIO!

My desk/office setup that you see above is a temporary setup that I put together quickly so that I could get focused on serving the students who are going through my current session of Podcasting A to Z.

In this episode, I explain that life has been extremely busy with the move and I have not had time for a lot of pre-show preparation lately. Rather than taking the week off to let the dust settle around here, I decided to go ahead and record and share some of the gear/technology that I’ve decided to use in the “Next Level Studio.”

Here is a link to a few of the items mentioned in this episode:
– Telehook Mobile Cart by ATDEC – http://gspn.tv/tvcart
– LG 60-Inch Smart TV Model LB7100 – http://gspn.tv/lgtv

  • “Doing work that matters” and “Idea’s That Spread” the wisdom of Seth Goden. This is true and bottom line you committed yourself 200% (or more) to making your idea’s spread.

From the outside looking in,  you must have worked ’10x Time Harder” than the majority of the  aspiring new media content producers. I witnessed you do “all nighters’ building your projects.

Here is my bottom line take away from watching your on TalkShoe.com amost a decade ago… all the way to today June 2014 – you take a good idea and “execute relentlessly.” DUDE, you dig deep and bust you behind.

You keep the forward motion and momentum until your idea is a living breathing thing. No matter what…. you figure out what needs to be done and then make the commitment to “Shipping.”

This is a testament to the fact that there is no substitute for “execute relentlessly.”

For the rest of the year I name you Cliff “there are no short cuts’ Ravenscraft.

Thanks for keeping me motivated to keep going when I’m lazy.

    Hey Cliff,
Was wondering if you could perhaps talk a little about the rax benefits your company takes with the studio. Does your company pay you rent or do you take a home based offfice? What about the bills? I know you arent a tax expert but love to hear more on this topic.
Congratulations on the awesome new house/studio.

  • akaTGIF Thank you Byron.   It is so awesome to know that I’m sitting in a reality now that was only a dream in the past.  It’s amazing what you can do when you believe big things are possible, set goals, write them down, tell others about them, create a plan and then go after that plan, as you say, RELENTLESSLY! 🙂

Thank you for reminding me just how far I’ve come since those TalkShoe days. 😉

  • I bet there is a way to use IFTTT to pull in the new comments and email them to you! I’ll play with it and report back!

Very nice Cliff.  Can’t wait for you to start video podcasting!

  • ILIKELM I’m sure it will not be too much longer before I launch a video show. 😉
