This week’s episode is part two in a three part series called “Questions That New Podcasters Ask.” For this series, I have pulled actual questions that were asked by students in my Podcasting A to Z online training course.

The questions that I address in this episode are as follows.

1. For many of your tutorials, it looks like you’re using YouTube more than Vimeo. If this is true, can you share why? (00:03:01)

2. Why do you like Adobe Audition over Audacity? (00:17:38)

3. What podcast app do you like best for subscribing to and managing the podcasts you listen to? (00:29:07)

4. Besides WorkFlowy, what tools do you use to plan your shows? (00:35:30)

5. What are three things that you know now that you wish you knew when you first started podcasting? (00:44:04)

Upcoming Event Schedule
One of my favorite things about traveling to, and speaking at conferences, is meeting members of my community. I always make it a point to host a community meetup wherever I travel.

Below is a list of events that you might be interested in. If you can make it to any of these events, I’d love to have the opportunity to meet you. If you are not able to attend the event, but are in that area, I’d still love for you to come to the personal community meetup that I will host in that town.

  • Enjoyed the show Cliff. As I was listening towards the end, I am always dumbfounded at how mean people can be when it comes to comments and feedback. If you want to post selfies of yourself working out, go ahead! I don’t get why people see the need to express if they don’t like it. If they don’t like it, they should simply tune out. Do people think they are going to completely change our mind if they post their negative feedback? Ok, rant done.

  • As usual, great information. Much help. I have been working toward setting up a podcast, and you have been my go-to guy. This episode was helpful (as usual). Thanks!

Like you, I really wish Audition was still available for purchase. I would buy it. But I cannot pay $50 a month forever for it.

  • I don’t understand these people either Mark.

  • Jeremy, I think you can get just the one app for $19 a month. But still, I’d rather just pay for the full version and own it.

  • Can’t you use some of your internet clout to get Adobe to bow to our wishes? 😉
