by Cliff Ravenscraft on May 17, 2013

Do you have a message that you want to get out to the world? Do you want to take your brand exposure to the next level? In this short video, I share four reasons why creating an audio podcast is the best investment you can make to stand out in our online world!

This video is the 10 minute version of this message

If you liked the video above, it was the initial inspiration for a full blown talk that I developed for conferences that I speak at. I encourage you to check out the 49 minute version of the full talk that I gave at Michael Hyatt’s Platform Conference.

  • Hi Cliff !

Love the video !! And Podcast IS AWESOME !! (Michael’s podcast as well !)

Thanks for all you’ve been doing for the podcasting world. And by “world”, I mean every country… 🙂

  • PhildeFontenay

Thanks for doing this video Cliff!
Very inspiring. I am in the process of getting a Podcast going. Just waiting for my
    Heil PR40 😉
I feel far more certain about doing this now.

Excellent video Cliff. I work as a communication consultant helping people structure and deliver presentations. This video is a great example of how to structure a presentation, but the real lesson is how well you use metaphor and emphasis to convey your message. Excellent work -I’ll be recommending this video to all my clients from now on.

  • Ling-en Hsia Thanks so much Ling.  So excited for what you are doing to help take podcasting in France to the next level!

  • PhildeFontenay Awesome!  Congrats on the launch of your upcoming show!  Great mic choice. 😉

  • Michael Medlock Thank you so much Michael.  The feedback on my communication style is a huge blessing. I’m been working on taking my communication skills to the “next level” for the past year and a half.  I just recently got back from the SCORRE Conference.  I shared what I took away from there in another video found at http://PodcastAnswerMan.com/scorre

Great Video. Excellent content. Getting ready to launch my own Podcast.
BTW… what camera and lighting did you use to create the video?

  • Mack Biggs Awesome.  Congrats on your upcoming launch.

    You nailed it, buddy!

  • DanielHayes Thanks Daniel!

  • Thanks, Cliff, both for your information, but also for introducing me Michael Hyatt’s work!  Be well always!

  • jossimp My pleasure to introduce you to Michael Hyatt.  He is a wonderful source of information and inspiration!

  • Totally different from your previous approaches! I can feel the “presentation formula.” 🙂
But I think this also sounds a little scripted or overly rehearsed. Maybe that’s because you worked so hard to be radically different.

  • Loved the video Cliff – I like the presentation style; it’s very effective and held my attention.
I am just about to record my sixth episode in the Vacation Rental Success podcast.  If it had not been for you and the outstanding quality of your training in January and February I would not be able to do this.  I had a little gap between episodes 4 and 5 but there have still been over 1000 downloads of my first four episodes.  All down to you and your ability to motivate, inspire and above all, educate.  I would love to give you an audio or video testimonial on how you have helped me succeed in my business.

  • DanielJLewis Thanks for the feedback.
It is a bit different and it make take a little time to make it a bit more “natural” for me.  There was certainly no scripting involved.  Just followed an outline.  As for rehearsed, only by the number of times that I stopped, deleted the recording, and then started to record again.
Regardless, one thing is true.  This is a ten minute video with the amount of information that used to take me 30 minutes to cover with my old ways.  Was happy to see that the video was so effective that it’s got a bunch of FB shares, linked in shares, retweents and even made it into a blog post on Michael Hyatt’s site.
This is the type of focused communication that I’ve always wanted to learn how to do. 😉

  • cottageguru Oh, I would LOVE to have a video testimonial from you!  That would be AWESOME!

  • wryter69

I’ve listened to Cliff several times to get fired up before planning, inviting guests, recording, and editing our next season of audio recordings. Thanks Cliff. The Scene (Taiwan) podcast

  • wryter69 Awesome! Thank you so much for the feedback!

  • Gary R Salmon

Cliff you’re awesome! I struggle with self-confidence so I continually get discouraged with the viability of doing a podcast on learning languages like Thai, Lao, and Chinese or even a podcast I’d like to do with my Dad on “Taking your Dental Practice to the Next Level”, but as soon as I listen, watch, or read any of your content I’m instantly inspired. May God continue to bless you!
