		<description>Thanks for the comment!.  You&#039;re correct  that Audacity does work with Linux as well.  I didn&#039;t mention that to him in the email because he had stated he was currently using Sony Sound Forge which caused me to speculate that he was using a PC Machine.

I mentioned back as it is possible that he has a Mac based computer.  Clients who are looking for a Linux based solution usually come straight out of the gate and say &quot;I use Linux, do you know of any audio editing software that I could use for podcasting on my machine?&quot;

I&#039;ve only encountered one person in the past three years of consulting that actually asked that question.

But thanks for making the point to let people know that Audacity is truly cross-platform in that it works on Windows, Mac, and Linux!
