I’m very excited to announce that I will be speaking at the BlogWorld & New Media Expo that is being held May 24th – 26th, 2011 in New York City.
I would have loved to have given you all a more advanced notice about this. However, the invitation to speak at the event came in just a few days ago and I’ve been working to make sure that I could rearrange my schedule to make this happen.
Everything is set in place, travel arrangements have been made and I will be headed to NYC on Monday, May 23rd. In fact, I am arranging a meetup that Monday and would like to invite anyone from the gspn.tv / Podcast Answer Man community to explore a bit of the city together. This is only my second visit to NYC and I look forward to seeing a bit more of the city. Click here for meetup details and to RSVP.
Up until now, BlogWorld & New Media Expo had taken place once a year in Las Vegas. However, this year they add this NYC event and the west coast event is moving to Los Angeles in the fall.
Reading through the descriptions of all the sessions that are going to be presented during this event, it’s easy to see just how much of a valuable educational experience this event will be. Click Here To See Full Schedule.
Thursday, May 26th at 9am ET: I will be speaking Thursday morning from 9am to 10am ET.
and will be sharing a session with Mike Rotman from Streaming Garage. The following is a description of the session from the BlogWorld Site:

Hey folks, I have an update on my BlogWord & New Media Expo session. I just learned from Mike, the person I was supposed to share my session with, that due to a scheduling conflict, he is not able to make it to the Thursday sessions of the expo.
Once I learned of this, I contacted the event organizers immediately to see what the new plans were for the session. I got two responses back, almost immediately, and they said, “…looks like you have a solo!”
I really do feel bad that Mike does not get this opportunity to share his story. However, at the same time, I am delighted to know that I will have 40 minutes to tell the story of gspn.tv! So now the session will be 40 minutes of me telling the gspn.tv story and 20 minutes of Q&A.
