As I mentioned in episode 211 of Podcast Answer Man, I had an amazing time at BlogWorld & New Media Expo NYC 2011. Many of you, who were unable to attend the event, had expressed a desire for me to record video of my talk to share with you.

I am happy to announce that I have been given permission from the BlogWorld organizers to share the recording of my talk with you and that I have finished processing the video. I hope that you find my story entertaining, educational, encouraging, and inspirational.

Thank you all for making it possible for me to follow my passion and make a very decent living doing it!

Podcast Answer Man related facts:
I used my Kodak Zi8 camera to record the video of my talk. For the audio, I used my Sony UWP-V6 wireless mic system that was brought directly from the wireless receiver into the audio input of the camera. For the post here on the site, I uploaded a HD version of my video to YouTube to embed here on this page. For the podcast feed, I created an iPhone version of this video which is uploaded to my Libsyn media hosting account which enclosed in my podcast rss feed.

Looking For A Way To Manually Turn Of Video Player In PowerPress
If anyone knows how to turn off the media player for PowPress on individual posts, please do let me know in the comments section. I know how to manually change the placement of the player to the another location in the post. However, on video episodes, I would much prefer not having any player at all for the enclosed video file since I am embedding the YouTube version above.

In this episode, I discuss what a Podcamp is and why I plan to attend no less than four of them this year. A PodCamp is a usually free, community driven, UnConference for new media enthusiasts and professionals including bloggers, podcasters, YouTubers, social networkers, and anyone curious about new media. The first PodCamp was held September 8-10, 2006 in Boston, Massachusetts. PodCamps are now being held worldwide.
